Olivia Penton grew up in New York and studied Vagonova Ballet as a child. Yoga was introduced to Olivia at the age of 9 by her ballet instructor.
Nine years later at the age of 18, Olivia began to practice Bikram Yoga and quickly fell in love with the heated practice and the physical benefits. She found herself on her mat constantly.
After meeting her husband, Ryan and moving to San Diego together, they had their first child in 2012. Olivia soon then found Corepower and reignited her passion for the practice. After the birth of their second son, she completed her 200 hour certification with Corepower Yoga.
Olivia teaches an energizing and expansive class that prepares the body to build strength and muscular endurance. Through enhancing breath and body awareness, Olivia can help the student acquire space and depth into their body through dynamic stretches.
These sessions are designed to compliment the physical and mental demands of training and playing throughout the season.
