The Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks is a non-profit organization (Tax ID No. 33-0531545). To sponsor a team, simply fill in and sign the attached Team Sponsor Application. Sponsors are assigned to teams in the order full payment is received. If you would like to sponsor a program, please fill out the attached Program Sponsor Application Form. The exact wording entered below can be used for printing jerseys, web site listings, and newspaper ads and articles. It is extremely important that it be completed accurately so the league will properly publish your sponsorship. The Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks is a non-profit organization that has been serving the San Diego community since its inception in 1970. The DMCV Sharks is one of the largest soccer clubs in Southern California – delivering a quality soccer experience to thousands of kids each year, ages 5 to 19.
The DMCV Sharks is a community based club that offers soccer of all levels from recreational to competitive to elite, in addition to a TOPSoccer program which is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. We remain focused on the players as a whole – both on and off the field. We are not results driven but more about how to help the players extract the life lessons soccer has to offer so they have the tools to be successful beyond soccer.

RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS OVERVIEW
| Junior World Cup | Late February thru Early April | JWC is geared toward young players, who are looking to develop their technical ball skills & broaden their soccer knowledge with the help of our professional Sharks’ coaches. JWC encourages players of all levels to imagine what it would be like to play for an international team such as Germany, Brazil, France, Italy, and of course, the USA!! |
| Spring Break Camp or Summer Camp | April & June | During these 5-day camps, 5-13 year old players have fun while working on their technical abilities, speed and agility, as well as basic skills including dribbling, passing, trapping and shooting. |
| MLS | April/May/June | The MLS program provides additional skills training for our players. It will run on Fridays and Sundays. Friday sessions will be comprised of a 1 hour training session, which includes a dynamic warm-up followed by technical skills trainings and fun games! Sunday sessions will include a recap on some of the basic skills followed by small-sided games. |

DMCV SHARKS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
| Registration Nights | January & May | ALL players in our recreational and competitive programs must register for the Fall season (2,800 players). This is a series of nights where our players and families are invited out to try on gear, pick up practice tees, and turn in the proper documentation. |
| Sharks in the Park | September | Picture Day at a local park – all of the players and families are invited to take their team pictures taken, organize team fundraisers, and participate in games and activities. Approximately 3,000 people. |
| Volunteer Appreciation Night | As the season comes to a close, we invite all of our volunteers, sponsors, referees, coaches and directors out for a night to thank them for all they do. We would like to partner with other companies who can provide desserts, gifts, etc. Approximately 200 people. |
Mutually beneficial relationship for both parties, potential ideas include:
- Exchange of informational flyers and/or promotions
- Provide donations/goods (food, desserts, stickers, coupons, etc.) to any of our events
- Publicize each other’s events/promotions/articles via each other’s email list and social media channels
- Agree not to advertise for any other local clubs, especially during tryout season
- Exchange of company banners to use at events
