Sharks’ Families,
As a not for profit organization, the DMCV Sharks is highly dependent on hundreds of volunteers to complete its mission to support soccer programs for San Diego youth. Amongst these incredible people, there are a few individuals who go “above and beyond,” by selflessly sacrificing countless weekends and evenings for the benefit of this organization.
One such volunteer that deserves special recognition is Traci Trask. Traci dedicated an unprecedented amount of her time over the last five years, including serving in a number of key capacities on the DMCV Sharks Board of Directors. Most recently, in the role of President of the club, Traci has had a profound impact on the club helping shape the organization that we are today.
It is for this reason that we regret to inform you that recently Traci tendered her resignation from the position of DMCV Sharks Club President. Consistent with our by-laws Eric Kowack will take on the position of interim President through March 31st, 2019, at which point the position will become eligible for re-election.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to Traci for everything she has done for our organization and wish her the best for the future. Traci has kindly provided us with a note to share with our membership that is below this communication.

Hello Sharks Families-
As we approach the holidays, I reflect on how thankful the Trask family is to be a member of our wonderful soccer community here at the DMCV Sharks. I personally want to thank each and everyone of you for being a part of this fabulous organization.
This month I will be transitioning out of my role as president. It has been a wonderful 5 years on the Sharks Board and I thank you so much for the opportunity to serve the club. I have truly appreciated my years on the board and look forward to continuing to support the DMCV Sharks.
