It probably goes without saying that shooting on goal (‘finishing”) is an essential skill that players must develop to turn the tide of a game. Although it is usually covered, to differing capacities, during regular training with your athletes’ coaches, we at The Sharks would like to offer a more focused and comprehensive training program with an emphasis on one of the most exciting and essential aspects in the game of soccer – SCORING GOALS!
Our shooting/finishing and skills clinic will focus on developing techniques that will set your athletes up for success in the final third by fostering our young players’ ability to strike the ball with confidence and be in the right place to finish at goal.
Our aim is to enable each and every one of our attendees to become rock solid game changers for when their teams need them the most!
Topics to be covered:
Skills first half hour
Correct technique for striking the ball
1v1’s in the final third
Breakaways
Crossing and finishing
The clinics are run by the collaborative efforts of Coach Ashlee Farshler and Coach Jordan Shadeed from the Sharks competitive program, along with the other knowledgeable and experienced Sharks coaches.
