1. What does this partnership mean for DMCV Sharks?
This partnership with Legends FC means that DMCV Sharks will now have access to enhanced resources, coaching expertise, development and college placement programs. It provides our players with greater opportunities for growth and success in soccer.
2. Will the leadership of DMCV Sharks change?
No, the leadership of DMCV Sharks will remain the same. Our club values and standards will continue to guide us, ensuring continuity and stability for our Del Mar Carmel Valley Sharks.
3. Why did DMCV Sharks choose to partner with Legends FC?
We chose to partner with Legends FC because of their impressive track record and commitment to youth soccer development. Their success in placing players at the college, professional, and National team levels aligns with our goals of providing the best opportunities for our players.
4. How will this partnership benefit my child?
Your child will benefit from enhanced training as a result of collaborative coaches education, access to a broader network of opportunities, and potential exposure to college and professional scouts. The collaboration with Legends FC will bring new resources and expertise to our coaching staff and significantly increase our player pool.
5. Will there be any changes to the current training and game schedules?
For the most part, training and game schedules will remain consistent. Any changes that may occur will be communicated by the coaching staff or directors and will be made with the goal of enhancing the overall experience and development of our players.
6. Will my child have to travel more frequently due to this partnership?
While there may be occasional opportunities for travel to participate in tournaments or events associated with Legends FC, we will strive to balance these opportunities with our commitment to providing a local, community-based soccer experience.
7. Does this affect my registration fees for the current 24-25` season?
No this will not affect your registration fees for the current season. Your PlayMetrics account will remain the same and will continue to hold all your registration and payment information.
8. How will communication be handled moving forward?
We will continue to communicate with parents through our usual channels, including PlayMetics, newsletters, meetings, social media and our website. Any updates related to the partnership will be shared promptly to keep all members informed.

10. Will we continue to use PlayMetrics?
Yes.
11. Do we need to purchase new uniforms?
Teams competing in the SOCAL soccer league Fall 24-25` season WILL NOT need to purchase new uniforms. Teams competing in the ECNL, ECNL-RL and Pre-ECNL platforms WILL need to purchase new Legends FC uniforms. We are still working through all the details in regards to ordering new Legends FC uniforms and will get this information to you very soon.
