Warren Barton was born and raised in London UK. He played at the highest level for 18 years in the EPL, he played for the English National Team, English Premier League, with 500 senior level appearances for Wimbledon FC, Newcastle United, Derby County & Queens Park Rangers.
Warren was asked to be the Chairman of the PFA, Professional Footballers Association, in the UK which he held for 2 years. After his professional soccer career he was an analyst for SKY Sports Television, covering all the major soccer leagues and competitions.
Warren moved to the US 6 years ago to become the head analyst on Fox Soccer Channel, which is now Fox Sports. He was the Head Coach of the U18 LA Galaxy team for 2 years and then the General Manager of the LA Blues, USL. Four years ago he became the owner and Head Coach of the San Diego Flash, NSPL. He holds an UEFA Pro License as well as the UEFA ‘A’ and ‘B’ License.

Mike is joining us after 7 years with Albion SC where he successfully developed back to back USYS National Champions (G06/G07). Mike is a USSF A license coach with over 15 years coaching experience. Mike strives to get the most out of each individual and team through hard work and a commitment to daily improvement. Mike lives in Encinitas where he lives with his wife Jessica, and four children Charlie, Michael, JJ, and Hank.

GREENWOOD
Emma Greenwood joins Sharks coaching staff from San Diego Surf Soccer Club. From Sheffield, England she fell in love with football being an avid Sheffield Wednesday fan. Emma earned her BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Montevallo where she later joined the staff as an assistant coach for the Women’s soccer program.
Prior to being in California, Greenwood was the Technical Director for the Alabama State Association where she oversaw the ASA Youth Academy for 9U-11U, the Elite Player Development Program, ODP (Olympic Development Program), Grassroots Soccer which included delivering Youth Modules to coaches, TOPSoccer (a community-based recreational program specifically designed for participants of all ages with intellectual, emotional, and or physical disabilities), and School Engagement Programs. She also coached at the Homewood Soccer Club and served as the assistant coach at her alma mater, University of Montevallo.
Greenwood has received multiple coaching honors US Youth Soccer Region III Recreational Coach of the Year in 2016 and Alabama Soccer Association Coach of the year 2016.
